RULES...
1. Camping permitted in RVIA approved RV's / Campers ONLY. Each campsite is limited to 1 RV/Camper, 2 vehicles and up to 6 people (2 adults & up to 4 children under the age of 18, limit of 4 adults per site). Anyone renting a site must be at least 21 years of age.
All RV's/campers must be self contained. We do not have bathhouses.
CHECK IN TIME IS 1:00 PM, CHECK OUT TIME IS 11:00 AM - SEE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.
Upon arrival for check-in please pull to the check-in lane (far right of the road) and all adults need to check-in.
2. The CAMPGROUND POSTED SPEED LIMIT IS 8 MPH.
3. No parking or driving on the grass.
4. QUIET HOURS are 11:00 pm to 7:00 am.
5. RV/Camper units shall be 12 years old (2012) or newer that are clean and have a well maintained exterior. Exceptions can be made by management prior to arrival for older units that are clean and have a well maintained exterior. Misrepresentation of camper is cause for non-admittance.
6. Please notify us if you intend to have visitors. Visitors must check in at the office and receive a vehicle pass. No more than 6 people per site. All visitors must vacate campground property prior to 11:00 pm unless the office is notified and paid an additional fee of $5.00 per visitor per night WITH A LIMIT OF 2 DAYS. If your visitor is coming for campground events they will be charged $5.00 per person.
7. Golf carts (electric only) are allowed: driver must be at least 16 years of age with a valid drivers license and proof of insurance is required.
8. The public display and/or consumption of any alcoholic beverage shall remain on your designated site. Please do not travel around the campground with alcohol. ALL VARIETIES AND FORMS OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE PROHIBITED.
9. PROHIBITED ITEMS include; any type of blow ups; (hot tubs, slip n slides, pools etc.), gas powered scooters, ATV's, fireworks and all other types of explosive devices.
10. Dumpster is located in the rear of the campground. We do NOT pick-up trash/garbage from campsites, please put all trash in the dumpster. DO NOT leave trash out overnight, wildlife will get into it. Dumpster is for everyday household trash, all other items must go to the transfer station at 510 Tom Mann Rd, Newport, see map below.
11. No structures are to be built on sites (car ports, decks, under pinning, sheds or dog fences etc.). You are required to keep your site free of debris and you must keep it neat.
12. BE RESPECTFUL of your neighbors and their space, do not encroach upon them/do not walk through someone else's site without their permission. Please turn off ALL OUTSIDE lights during quiet hours.
13. You are responsible for the children in your group, please monitor them at all times. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
14. If you have pets; limit of 3 & proof of vaccinations are required. Pets must be leashed at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS. Pets are not to be left alone outside, If fences are allowed, they must remain on the gravel. Owners are responsible for cleaning up their pets waste. Pets are not permitted in the pond. NON-AGGRESSIVE dogs/animals only. NO barnyard animals allowed. Pets must be controlled at all times. If you do not follow the rules or your pet attacks anyone or any other pet you will be told to leave immediately and no refund will be given.
15. Washing and/or maintenance on any type of vehicle is not permitted without permission.
16. Charging of EV's is not allowed.
17. Displaying signs (for sale, crafts for sale, Repair work etc.) are prohibited.
18. Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings only. If there is a BURN BAN in effect it will be posted at the office and no campfires will be allowed.
19. Fishing is allowed in the pond - catch and release only. Swimming is not allowed, pets are not allowed in pond.
20. You assume all risk and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment, including specifically (but not exclusively): the dangers of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities; such as walking the trails or fishing or being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions or your own camping items and agrees that the campground and it's owners, agents and employees are not liable for injures or property damages resulting from such causes.
21. Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore we do NOT give REFUNDS due to discomforts of nature, illness, work schedules, early departures or ejections, or for misrepresentation of camper length for site.
22. Dogwood Family Campground and its owners reserve the right to EJECT anyone (camper & or their visitors) without refund for non-payment of camping fees, not following the rules and/or damage to property.
23. Any Camper over the age of 18 staying 27 days or more must agree to & pay for a background check.
24. Dogwood Family Campground or the owners are NOT responsible for any loss of valuables, accidents, damage or injuries.
25. Campers are not allowed to use the campground address as their mailing address or a physical address, you can rent a PO box from USPS or The UPS store. You can have small packages delivered to the campground office (via UPS, FEDEX OR USPS), NO everyday mail or Freight Truck deliveries. We are NOT a primary residence facility.

-CHECK IN time is 1:00 PM - Upon arrival please pull over to the far right side of the road in front of the office and check-in. - No check ins after DARK - we are "Dark Sky Friendly" so we have limited lighting through out our campground. -Payment is due at time of reservation. -ID is required upon arrival. -Each campsite is for up to 6 people, children over the age of 18 are considered adults. -CHECK OUT time is 11:00 AM |
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
-Payment is due in full at time of reservation. -If you cancel 8 days or more prior to arrival date you will receive a refund minus a $30.00 administration fee. -If you cancel 7 days or less of day of arrival you forfeit all money paid. -No refunds for early check out, holiday weekends, work schedules, discomforts of weather or ejection. -Rates and Rules are subject to change. |

SEPTIC
- Use only RV toilet paper and bio-degradable septic treatment. - Do not flush feminine products of any kind. - Do not flush baby wipes or "flush-able" wipes - they are not bio-degradable and will clog our sewer system which will affect everyone and can cause sewer blockages throughout the entire campground. - DO NOT use garbage disposals. |
VISITOR POLICY
- Please notify us of expected visitors. - All visitors must follow all rules and policies of the campground. You are responsible for your visitors. - We do not charge for your day visitors unless they are coming to participate in campground activities or stay overnight, they do need to check in at the office and get a vehicle pass. We need to keep track of people on premises for security and insurance purposes. - All visitors must leave before 11:00 pm, if they stay over there is a charge of $5.00 per person per night, with a limit of 2 days. - We reserve the right to refuse service/entry to anyone for any reason. |
PET POLICY
- Limit of 3 pets per site.
- No aggressive animals, no barnyard animals.
- Pets must be leashed at all times.
- Please clean up / pick up after your pets.
- No pets / animals allowed in the pond.
- No Fences around your site.

TRASH POLICY

- We do not pick up trash from your site.
- For every day trash please use the dumpster in the rear of the campground. - Do Not dispose of household items in the dumpsters, please carry them to the convenience center at 510 Tom Mann Rd., Newport near Hwy 70. |
