RULES...
1. Camping permitted in RV/Camper units ONLY! (must be an RVIA approved RV/Camper unit) Each campsite is limited to 1 RV/Camper unit, 2 vehicles and 6 people at any given time! All RV/Camper units must be self contained, we do not have a bathhouse at this time. Anyone reserving a site must be at least 21 years of age.
CHECK IN TIME IS 1:00 PM, CHECK OUT TIME IS 11:00 AM - SEE CANCELLATION POLICY BELOW.
Upon arrival for check-in please pull to the check-in lane (far right of the road) and all adults need to check-in.
2. The CAMPGROUND POSTED SPEED LIMIT IS 8 MPH, for the safety of everyone & their pets and is strictly enforced.
3. NO PARKING OR DRIVING ON THE GRASSED AREAS. Do NOT park on vacant RV/Camper sites. Registered guests are limited to 2 vehicles on their site. If both vehicle spots are used, visitors may park in the overflow parking sites, (not in vacant sites) at the discretion of management.
4. QUIET HOURS are 11:00PM to 7:00AM.
5. The sites are angled and the road is looped for a reason, drive your vehicles in the proper direction of flow..
6. RV/Camper units shall be 12 years old (2013) or newer and must have a clean & well maintained exterior. Exceptions can be made by management prior to arrival for older units that have a clean & well maintained exterior. Misrepresentation of RV/camper unit is cause for non-admittance.
7. Campground guests MUST notify the management in advance of any visitors coming to the campground. Visitors must STOP at the office to check-in and receive a vehicle pass. No more than 6 people per site. All visitors must vacate campground property prior to 9:00PM unless the office is notified and pay an additional fee of $5.00 per visitor per night WITH A LIMIT OF 2 DAYS/NIGHTS.
8. Trash & debris must be kept cleaned up from the campground property. CIGARETTE BUTTS are trash and not to be thrown anywhere on the grounds or in the "fire rings". Violators of this rule will be fined $50.00 per occurrence with NO EXCEPTIONS.
9. Golf carts (electric only) are allowed: driver must be at least 16 years of age with a valid driver's license and proof of insurance is required.
10. The public display and/or consumption of any alcoholic beverage must remain on your designated site. Please do not move around the campground with alcohol. ALL VARIETIES AND FORMS OF CONTROLLED SUBSTANCES AND ILLEGAL DRUGS ARE PROHIBITED, Cannabis, CBD, Hemp, etc of any type is PROHIBITED.
11. PROHIBITED ITEMS also include; any type of blow ups; (hot tubs, slip n slides, pools etc.), gas powered scooters, ATV's, fireworks & all other types of explosive devices and no drones and no charging of EV's.
12. Dumpster is located in the rear of the campground. We do NOT pick-up trash/garbage from campsites. The dumpster is only to be used by registered guests for everyday household trash generated within the campground. Absolutely no trash is to be hauled in from the outside campground. It is not to be used by visitors or anyone with an RV/Camper in storage. No BULK ITEMS are to be put in the dumpster. Bulk items must be taken to 510 Tom Mann Rd., Newport. Do Not leave trash anywhere outside for any amount of time due to the wildlife in and around the campground getting into it.
13. No structures are to be built on sites (carports, decks, underpinning, sheds or dog fences, etc.). You are required to keep your site free of debris and you must keep it neat.
14. BE RESPECTFUL of your neighbors and their space, do not encroach upon them/do not walk through someone else's site without their permission. Turn off ALL OUTSIDE lights during quiet hours.
15. You are responsible for the children in your group, please monitor them at all times. Children under the age of 12 must be accompanied by an adult.
16. If you have pets; limit of 3 & proof of vaccinations is required. Pets must be leashed at all times with a visible and to you (electronic & voice leashes of any type are not acceptable) and under your control at all times, NO EXCEPTIONS. Pets are not to be left alone outside, Owners are responsible for cleaning up their pet's waste, IMMEDIATELY. Pets are not permitted in the pond. NON-AGGRESSIVE dogs/animals only. NO barnyard animals allowed. Violators of the pet rule will be fined $25.00 per occurrence. Continued violations or any pet showing aggression toward anyone else or another pet will result in an immediate ejection from the campground without a refund.
17. Washing and/or routine maintenance is allowed on your RV/camper with notice & permission given by the management. Major RV/Camper repairs must be done at a repair facility. No washing, maintenance or repairs of any type (fluid changes, brake jobs, etc.) on vehicles.
18. Displaying signs (Political, For Sale, Crafts, Repair work etc.) are prohibited.
19. Campfires are permitted in designated fire rings only. Fire rings are for having a small campfire with firewood. Do NOT burn trash, pallets or cigarette butts in the fire rings. If there is a BURN BAN in effect it will be posted at the office and no campfires will be allowed.
20. Fishing is allowed in the pond - Catch and Release Only. Swimming is not allowed, pets are not allowed in pond.
21. You assume all risks and dangers incidental to the activity of camping in a rustic outdoor environment, including specifically (but not exclusively): the dangers of being injured by insects or other animals, of being injured while participating in recreational activities; such as walking the trails, fishing or being injured as a result of inclement weather conditions or your own camping items and agrees that the campground and it's owners, agents and employees are not liable for injuries or property damages resulting from such causes.
22. Camping is an outdoor experience; therefore we do NOT give REFUNDS due to discomforts of nature, illness, work schedules, early departures or ejections, or for misrepresentation of RV/camper unit.
23. Dogwood Family Campground and its owners reserve the right to EJECT anyone (camper, guests or visitors) for non-payment of any fees and/or not following any of the campground rules. Registered guests are responsible for their visitors and that they also follow the rules of the campground.
24. Any camper/guests over the age of 18 staying 27 days or more must agree to & pay for a background check.
25. Dogwood Family Campground or the owners are NOT responsible for any loss of valuables, accidents, damage or injuries.
26. Deliveries of ANY type (food service, groceries, products, shuttle rides, etc.) are strictly prohibited within the RV/Camper site areas of the campground. Guests must instruct delivery/ride personnel to meet them at the office parking area.

- CHECK IN time is 1:00PM - Upon arrival please pull over to the far right side of the road and check-in. - No check ins after DARK - we are "Dark Sky Friendly" so we have limited lighting through out our campground. - CHECK OUT time is 11:00AM - ID is required upon arrival. - Each campsite is for up to 6 people, children over the age of 18 are considered adults. |
CANCELLATION AND REFUND POLICY
- Payment is due in full at time of reservation. - If you cancel 8 days or more prior to arrival date you will receive a refund minus a $30.00 administration fee. - No refund for 7 days or less of day of arrival (or leave as a credit with the campground to be used for future stays up to 1 year). - No refunds for early check out, holiday weekends, work schedules, discomforts of weather or ejection. - Rates and Rules are subject to change. |

SEPTIC
- Use only RV toilet paper and bio-degradable septic treatment. - Do not flush feminine products of any kind. - Do not flush baby wipes or "flush-able" wipes - they are not bio-degradable and will clog our sewer system which will affect everyone and can cause sewer blockages throughout the entire campground. - DO NOT use garbage disposals. - Limit of 3 pets per site. - No aggressive animals, no barnyard animals. - Pets must be leashed at all times. - Clean up / pick up after your pets IMMEDIATELY. - No pets / animals allowed in the pond. - No Fences around your site. |
VISITOR POLICY
- Guest must notify us of expected visitors. - All visitors must follow all rules and policies of the campground. You are responsible for your visitors. - We do not charge for your day visitors unless they are going to stay overnight, they do need to check in at the office and get a vehicle pass. We need to keep track of people on premises for security and insurance purposes. - All visitors must leave before 9:00PM, if they stay over there will be a charge of $5.00 per person per night, with a limit of 2 days/nights. - We reserve the right to refuse service/entry to anyone for any reason. |

TRASH POLICY
- We do not pick up trash from your site. - For every day household trash please use the dumpster in the rear of the campground. - Do Not dispose of BULK items in the dumpsters, please carry them to the convenience center at 510 Tom Mann Rd., Newport near Hwy 70. |
